Search Tips
- Check your spelling. Are the words in your query spelled correctly?
- Try using synonyms. Maybe the page you're looking for uses slightly different words, like "film" instead of "movie".
- Make your search more general. For example, instead of using specific product names, try using the generic product category.
- Use special operators.
- AND: Searches for documents that have both words in it. (Example: Attorney AND Law)
- OR: Searches for documents that has either word in it. (Example: Attorney OR Law)
- NOT: Eliminates documents where the word is found. (Example: Attorney NOT Law)
- Use Parentheses and Quotation Marks.
- (Parentheses): Words within parentheses are considered a unit, and are considered first. (Example: Skateboard OR (Ramp AND Wheels))
- "Quotation Marks": Quoted words or phrases are searched for literally. (Example: Skateboard AND "not ramp")
- Use Wildcards.
- *: * stands in for any number of characters (Example: *board would find surfboard and snowboard)
- ?: ? stands in for any single character (Example: ?ar?et would find carpet and target but not Learjet)
